I guess it was bound to happen

28 08 2009

C just called from work to ask me to look up what will take Sharpie marker off of car paint.
Yep, some pissed off person (most likely someone she had to kick out) wrote all over her white car. And I guess where she parks, there wasn’t a good way for the camera to see it.

Did some quick research, and found suggestions ranging from hairspray to nail polish remover (I don’t think so!) to Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I think we’re going to try the Mr. Clean way, seems like it might do the least damage to the paint.

Though it sucks, I’m not surprised. People scream at her every day, it was just a matter of time before they figured out what she drives and vandalized it. It could have been worse. A brick through the window or thrown at her head. I hope she’ll start parking somewhere a little closer to the building.

Quick, C, take a picture before you attempt removal. Maybe your insurance will cover this. Or the company (ha, ha-ha-ha, ha, snort, snort). Seriously, maybe employees’ property is covered under their liability insurance.
